Who Can Benefit from RAPID NeuroFascial Reset?

Therapeutic Body Concepts

If you’ve ever struggled with issues in your muscles and ligaments, you know the frustration of chronic pain and loss of motion. Many clients come to us with questions about treatments that can help. In some cases, our treatment plans for these clients will include a new technique called RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (also known as RAPID NFR).

What is RAPID NeuroFascial Reset?

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is a new movement-based therapeutic technique that acts on the central nervous system. This treatment acts at the neurological level to restore functioning to the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.

The Central Nervous System’s Role in Relieving Tension

The central nervous system consists of the brain and the spinal cord. The central nervous system collects, interprets, and responds to sensory data from the external world.

Treatment of the body’s neurological system allows your therapist to “reprogram” your tissue to behave in normal ways, especially after trauma, overuse, or injury.

When Should You Go for Your Rapid NFR

RAPID NFR treats a wide range of conditions at the neurological level. This may include chronic pain and muscle tension and restrictions that are found in a wide range of conditions. See our RAPID NRF page for the full list of conditions that can be treated.

What Does a Treatment Look Like?

Each RAPID NFR session is a combination of examination and treatment. During the examination phase of the treatment, your therapist will move his or her hands over your body lightly to assess what’s going on. This may involve looking at the range of motion of specific body parts, what the texture and tightness of the muscles feels like, and how much pain is felt during movement.

In the movement phase, your therapist will manipulate different parts of your soft tissue and apply pressure in some areas. Different areas of your body will be stimulated to restore muscle functioning and flexibility.

We typically recommend booking at least two sessions. More sessions may be needed for deeper issues, but two sessions allow our therapists to get a sense of your specific needs.

For every new RAPID NFR treatment, you’ll need a new assessment. We’ll look at how specific client movements have changed since the last treatment and assess how we can continue to release restrictions within muscles, tendons, and ligaments.

You may experience a bit of pain during the session and be sore the next day, but that will fade quickly and the results are well worth it.

You’ll be fully clothed for this treatment. Please come wearing loose-fitted, comfortable clothes so your therapist can assess and manipulate all affected areas.

Why Is It Effective?

The “rapid” portion of RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is no joke. Clients often feel results within hours of their treatment. Although the treatment itself can be slightly uncomfortable at times, this is due to the major changes occurring in the body. Our clients typically report major changes to their original conditions within hours or days of a Rapid NFR treatment, with better results from ongoing treatments as part of a great health and wellness plan.
