Ashley loves to learn and is full of positivity, compassion, and empathy. She graduated from MaKami College in October 2021 with an Advanced 3000 hour Massage Therapy Diploma with Honours. Ashley loves seeking all things spiritual and is very intrigued in the mind-body connection. She also started practicing Reiki Usui in September 2020 and is now a Reiki Master & Teacher as of October 2021.
Prior to Ashley becoming a massage therapist, she was an intensive child and youth care worker for 3 years. She has experience working with children, adolescent, adults and seniors with a variety of disabilities. Ashley went to Academy of Learning for Community Service and Addictions Worker, where she graduated with honours.
Ashley spends her free time volunteering. She teaches toddlers at Sunday school. Was an assistant coach for the Tri-area Warriors Volleyball for the past 2 years (for U15 & U16 girls) and was a Brownie leader for Girl Guides from 2019-2020. Ashley is an athlete that plays a variety of different sports and has all her life. She loves to motivate people through movement of the body and her favourite motto’s are “when you feel, you heal” and “motion is lotion for your body, so get up and move”!
Some of her personal pass times are practicing yoga, meditating, dancing and journaling; however, she also loves to explore and has a child-like sense of wonder. So being by bodies of water, nature photography, spending time hiking, ANY time in the mountains, and fishing and reading are also passions of hers. She continues to follow what lights her up and brings her joy.
Ashley looks forward to helping YOU be able to heal YOUR body. There’s so much to look forward to and she cannot wait to be apart of your growth. Ashley is also a Registered Trauma-Informed Yoga teacher, as of July 2022. & Trauma-Informed Massage Certified, as of May 2022.
